I started using Fedora to revive an old Laptop to serve as media player, quick browsing and email checking. After a while, it started getting some errors which I wasn't willing to spend the time to learn about and troubleshoot.
I installed Ubunto on it and never had issues since.
Tried to stay away from Canonical but Ubunto seems a lot more mature and reliable. At least to those who want the OS to get out of the way.
