a lot of people who try to debate trans people on their existence come from the skeptic / new atheist movement - its why the uk is especially shit.
the skeptic movement is the worst for a lot of reasons but especially they are devoid of the ability to actually engage in good faith. Their entire growth as a movement was always from a position of using 'debate' as a bad faith action to try and convince religious people to give up religion.
