If you ask me art is simply a means of communication like speech or writing. But it has some advantages over those two. “A picture paints a thousand words”, art can communicate a message in a much fuller and emotionally powerful way. It can hint at things, but leave the audience to answer what the actual message, so is great for communicating a vision for the future
