Secondly, canada's bonds aren't "breaking". They are still ridiculously low yield to the point where the fees involved in acquiring them is more than you're likely ever going to make. Like it's up from the lowpoint of the before-covid days but that's to be expected, but it's low compared to say, 20 years ago.
Thirdly, I've been telling anyone who will listen that they are *not* the 'safest market' -- there's *always* a risk of sovereign default that most people do not realize is priced in, unlike assets like #bitcoin.
