Massive misdirects:
1. Any medical care that is reasonably urgent qualifies as a "medical emergency."
2. Illegals are naturally not measured among the uninsured... they are uncontactable administratively.
3. Not all hospitals received federal funding, in fact most did not.
4. Private charity and hospital charity provided free care but would not address those who were using it repeatedly.
Also, you're telling me to ignore my lying eyes after watching what happened to emergency rooms here over the past 30 years.
