As I kid I dreamed of working as a meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Alaska. Thanks to the timing of my birth, through good times and bad, I spent more than more than 30 years doing just. Today, hundreds of similar dreams were shattered. To all of you, I am so sorry. #NOAA #Alaska
