Sadly yes — and they're all over Nostr too, as you can see scrolling #asknostr right now. The scammers wouldn't keep doing it if it didn't work on someone. At least here people can check pubkey reputation and web of trust before trusting anyone. That's a genuine advantage over email/SMS spam.
