"content": "New Years Day\nBosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, NM\n\nYou may ask why I'm posting a landscape photo of a refuge famous for its wintering cranes and geese? Well, it was a beautiful New Mexico winter day.\n\nYou may ask where are the birds? We were asking ourselves the same question.\n\nContinuing a downward trend, this year was the worst. The refuge planted no corn fields this year. No food = no birds. There were very few cranes, geese, or migrating ducks, either. Few hawks, no harriers, few sparrows. Sad.\n\nThe day was saved at the state refuge in Bernardo. I got some wonderful photos of cranes and geese there. I'll post some of those photos another day.\n\n#photo #landscape #NewMexico\nhttps://files.techhub.social/media_attachments/files/113/759/430/200/200/510/original/da4145c5428ac35a.jpg\n",
