I polled a bunch of folks on the fediverse about their feelings of LLM generated art a week or two back. AND most folks it reached seem to feel that the presence of generative AI contributions within a work; decreased the work's artistic value if not negating it completely.

A couple people (correctly in my opinion) criticized my poll for pointing out it might be artistically valid to use generative AI as part of a larger work critiquing generative AI.

THOUGH I think that last one is probably a pretty narrow usage, if one is looking for a broad "temperature reading".
