Even my industry has scaled back since Covid was declared "over". No more testing, masks optional (although plenty of people still wear them backstage). I also got slack during spring/ summer of this year, until I noticed an uptick in cases at work. Theatre people seem to be canaries in the coal mine for new variants. I knew there was a new one weeks before it was being reported in the media.
