#fountainpen adjacent: I picked up one of the glass nibs advertised for Jinhao 82, and stuck it in one of my franken82s with a transparent cap (so I'll remember that it has a glass nib). I have quite a lot of glass dip pens but I have to admit I'm pleasantly surprised. It looked like it was going to be sharp and scratchy, but what I got was one of the most well tuned glass pens I've had out of the box, smooth and writing well at all angles. I'm used to having to tune them, this was very nice.
