I agree but I think the strongest argument is with Deku. While the series probably wouldn't have attracted the same audience volume, I feel like the MC fits much better as a girl due to his disposition and personality. The potential of gap moe of "heroic girl who gets hurt helping people and smiles when you worry about her injuries" is very powerful id say.
It could probably attract the crazy Fujishies anyway to project into Deku if you keep Bakugo a guy too.
