I personally feel that the whole shorts-in-a-wad panic by the right wing about borders & immigrants - especially calling the indigenous peoples of the Americas "illegals" and denying them freedom of movement while claiming the white christian colonizers are the only "legals" - has more to do with the coming climate collapse than anything else.

They know it's coming.
