We're excited to welcome Piers Cockram to Sovereignty Summit 2027.
Piers is the founder of mineracks, where he's building the next generation of sovereign technology - from self-hosted cloud storage and private AI to Bitcoin infrastructure and self-custody tools.
His work is driven by a simple idea: you should own your data, control your money and choose the technology you depend on.
From developing tools that let people securely back up their own data, to creating hands-on simulations that make Bitcoin self-custody easier to learn, Piers is helping make digital sovereignty practical and accessible.
Beyond building software and hardware, Piers is an active contributor to the Bitcoin community, helping lead the Bitcoin Brisbane meetup and regularly speaking at Bitcoin events across Australia and around the world.
At Sovereignty Summit, Piers will explore how open-source technology, sovereign computing and Bitcoin infrastructure are giving individuals more control in an increasingly centralised digital world.
