Afroman's verdict reminds me of D.J. T.O. (Antavio Johnson), who got convicted of threatening cops for a song he'd recorded: Kill Me A Cop. He did two years in prison.
Different state, different time, much younger man without a big following. His song is a banger and I've had it in my music database for a long time.
It just goes to show that "justice" is unevenly administered in this country, as everywhere. And that "free speech" only counts sometimes.
