whew, saved! almost let a week whoosh by without commits to the #rust #tui #daw

at beginning of week i kinda got stuck on implementing a sane focus system for the ui components

it's kinda hard to make a good design and implementation for nested focusing of widgets in a mouseless interface, especially with the type erasure that trait-based dynamic dispatch does

then some life happened (need to get the escape pod 🚗 looked at 🔧) but i finally made some room to look at all that during the weekend
