Last day of non weekend leave, so I spent the morning lying in bed reading Snake-Eater by T. Kingfisher.
I noticed a bit late that it was technically labelled horror, and I do agree it contains some horror tropes, but it wasn't the sort of horror that made me go 'oh no!' My horror tolerance is not high. This was closer to dark urban fantasy in terms of my ability to cope. The supernatural portion is not the scariest part.
