deadloch does…kind of a decent job avoiding copaganda? mainly in the sense that while the main characters are kind of a buddy cop odd couple who do the good detective work and solve the murder—prime copaganda setup—virtually every other cop we meet is perpetually extremely angry at them for doing their job properly and yelling at them to just arrest the most convenient suspect. and also openly racist, sexist and homophobic.
