Anyway, I really like these kinds of live acoustic retrospective albums. Knowing some of the stories behind the creation of the music, or in some cases stories about playing the songs on tour, or things fans have said about the songs, gives the music a greater depth and humanity imo.
It's making me want to go back and listen to his albums chronologically with the purple versions interspersed.
