(Sorry, this is a VERY old-school KDE/GNOME joke. In case folks don't know it: there was this big thing in the first few years of GNOME that KDE had started six months before GNOME, and therefore GNOME could “never catch up”. Almost 30 years later, this is a really silly argument.)
