Here’s how I imagine it going down:
Jack and Schifty Pete sit at a table in the Octagon… the verbal sparring commences… it’s a blood bath, figuratively speaking, and Peter is fairing miserably…
Halfway through, Peter shrieks “BITCOIN HAS NO INTRINSIC VALUE,” flips the table and comes at Jack, unable to take the mental beat down any longer, thirsting for Bitcoiner blood, his world shattered, his pride bloody and bruised, realizing that he has been bested, realizing that there is no second best…
Peter draws back his fist, brass knuckles made of gold glittering ominously in the lights of the Octagon…
Jack deftly sidesteps Peter’s feeble attack, but does not punch in retaliation… instead Jack bitch slaps Petey boy HARD in the face.
Peter, stunned, falls to the floor and cowers in front of Jack, tears streaming from his eyes, afraid of another blow… but it does not come.
Instead, Jack reaches out his hand, helps Peter to his feet, and pulls him in close for a bear hug.
“You’re one of us now, Pete.”
Peter weeps. It was all he had ever wanted, after all.
