It’s more about the temptation towards distraction.
When it comes to legacy or trying to make it, after really questioning what that even means, I’ve realised it’s pointless for me to keep going down this path. I’ll only truly make it once I separate myself and start discovering, creating, and stop wasting days inside the algorithmic abyss.
The only thing I might do is upload the occasional low effort YouTube rant here and there, and even then I’m not sure if I want to. I don’t want anything to do with persona or image anymore. I just want to live. And all I see now is people convincing themselves they’re free while being completely tied to their personas, their phones, their platforms. People are getting dumber by the day. We’re not built to take in this much information.
I want to now pay full attention to art, writing, experience, and life itself. I’m fed up with this idea that everyone’s work will be automated and everyone will just become influencers. We already have enough creativity, enough will, enough depth to change things. But the current way of doing it doesn’t work. The message never lands, and the art never gets found.
