my primary motivation for using nix was to make reinstalls painless, and the reason ive kept trying to make guix work is "that but lisp". but the burdens they place on the modern system are too great, and guix sadly isn't There yet ime. so what if i made my own thing that was worse in almost every way but was flexible in the specific dimensions i want but still encouraged eventual consistency
