FWIW, after yet another reinstall of Damus it seems it somehow defaults back to my coinos wallet, even though I didn't connect it. I can't view txn history in the interface, after I reconnected it, but can see inbound show up there when I test. Sent out all funds and tried disconnecting it but it still seems to persist in receiving zaps...
