Thus a question for the OSM and general hiking community - with Garmin discontinuing the Oregon series, is there anything else decent?
Waterproof, Oregon-sized (including the display), takes AA batteries, has internal charging.
Usable for hiking, cycling, car navigation (nuvi "view").
There are multiple threads with people seeking a device in that class (a new Oregon, basically...):
