We all kind of operate now at a level where it's functionally impossible to RTFeveryM, and that just kind of has to be fine.
I don't know what manual would have told me that to update the data source for a Grafana configuration you have to bump the version field, otherwise Grafana ignores the config file and defers to whatever it's squirreled away in its own internal databases.
... and that's fine, because Googling "grafana change source added by config" finds the answer.
But *wow* are things complicated these days.
