next on the viewing docket: Aliens (1986)
the original 1979 movie is superior but i've rewatched that one twice as many times already. so Aliens it is.
biggest beefs with this movie are James Cameron's military fetishism, and the fact that conservation of ninjutsu meant the start of a trend of significantly underpowering the xenomorphs, to the point that you could almost splat them with a flyswatter. but highlights include the Alien queen, and some rip roaring action scenes. let's go
