I'm tinkering with old stuff and thanks to a cup of coffee and looking intensely into my Call of Cthulhu 6th edition book I came up with inspiration for generalist simple spell list for all sorts of begginer mystics.
- curse (indirect harm)
- divination
- protection
- charm (as in weak mind manipulation, nasty stuff)
- summoning (may be just communication with Other)
- banishing
- enchanting (item or creature)
I could add potentially some transformative and some movement stuff?
