Question: Do you pronounce the x in 'quixotic'?
As far as I'm aware, it's a reference to Don Quixote, and his tilting at windmills, so it should be pronounced 'kee-hotic'. But according to an online dictionary I just looked at, it's pronounced 'kwik-sotik', even though you don"t vocalise the x in Don Quixote.
Unless I've been pronouncing Don Quixote wrong all this time...
