Trees make patient subjects.



Especially when they stand alone. It’s then that one can see them as individuals - shaped by time, full of character. In forests, I struggle. I lose the tree in the crowd of trees. And it’s the same with people. When they gather in numbers, I lose sight of the human among all the humans.
