Appreciate your think-along, but I have recently wound down my Proton subscription. Before Andy started cuddling up. My own domain and email plan in Germany for some time now. Prior to that it was Tutanota. That's very solid as well. So, that Gmail is just my catchall for just those big tech necessities, like Android, MS (yep, gotta do those Teams calls sometimes) and GitHub. The rest is totally outside of it. That works in many ways, I split as much as is feasible.
