But yeah, there's a whole lot of nothing west of Indiana for a long time. Just great expanses of plains and farmland and wind turbines and occasionally rest stops on the I-80. Such long stretches between gas stations that I was a bit concerned with having enough fuel for potentially 100mi between them. It is quite lovely out here in that great land sense for how vast this zone is. I wouldn't ever choose to live out here but passing through has been enjoyable in the clear weather.
