You know, I've found with talking about my own life, mental health, & emotional struggles that the more specific I am to my experience, the more likely someone is to tell me that something I wrote was significant or meaningful in a very personal way to them.

I do not think avoiding specificity makes something universally accessible. It frequently means that you're creating something that can't really speak to anyone. There's a paradox here: it's the specificity that speaks clearly to people.
