in the movie the only real diagnoses is dropped on his head and physically abused a fuck ton as a baby iirc but character personality wise substances while pregnant probably too, so basically completely fucked up and mentally retarded as a result of a lot of brain damage and injuries when still forming and all
sad but like he still became valued and important in the plot like the whole deal is he was this deformed freak locked up that terrified people like a monster but when given a chance he was so nice and kinda on compassionate and loyal, its a positive message about him i dont see how it would be offensive
