-Marriage in Islam requires both parties to be physically and mentally mature and sane and consenting; there is no fixed age of marriage. By this standard, many people that are 21 years old nowadays would be ineligible for marriage

-An isolated narration does not define the religion. Narrations can be false or poorly transmitted. Not all narrations in Sahih Bukhari, or any other book of narrations, are sound

-Some narrations would indicate Aisha being of an older age

-The enemies of Muhammad would slander him with all sorts of nonsense, so why did no one, especially those during his time, throw out the pedophile insult for 1300 years?

-Why would a pious man marry his daughter to Muhammad if she was still prepubescent, and why would she consent and never raise an issue about it before, during, or after the marriage?

-age of betrothal means nothing. Some people historically were betrothed while they were still in the womb or infants - betrothal is just an arrangement to get married later
