I confess I'm not invested into the series, I finished 4 and 5, and pretty much just tested the others. For the og triology, I don't like to play a game with guns and being forced to not use it most of time, it's a lame design in my book which will make me pick Parasite Eve duology instead (and the fact Capcom changed the franchise in RE4 to be more like PE speaks volumes).
For me what really dragged down RE5 is that shit inventory, it's the very definition of anti-fun design after what we had in RE4, aside this and the asthetics, is pretty much what RE4 was, but with a helpful partner (and possible coop multiplayer)
