The keys are also out of order compared to the Mac embedded keyboard, making it impossible to know what I'm actually pressing.
If you tell me "Hit Cmd+J", I'm just going to try all three until one of them works.
Terminal still uses Ctrl, not Cmd. So my brain has to switch in and out of "Mac-mode" to make that work.
VSCode is especially confusing, because I need Cmd+P instead of Ctrl+P to open files, but then I need Ctrl+` to open the embedded Terminal? And then everything in there uses Ctrl?
This is maybe less of an observation about Mac so much as that it was maybe a historical mistake to print OS-specific keys on keyboards. I don't know the timeline here, but I feel like we screwed ourselves as soon as we started doing that.
