Taking advantage of a warm Saturday and taking a trip near the smallish local cave complex (sealed for now). Apart from an unpleasant interaction with a local about parking that turned into a show & tell for the kids about how fighting with an idiot is not always worth it, it was nice. And the delay turned out for the better, since near the cave entrance we met a youngster (not sure if he was old enough to drive) that had some profound info about the caves. After a chitchat he admitted he was scouting the location for next day's shooting. He knew his way around the seals, had a map, knew the history, and was going to make this his first YT video. Refreshing seeing young YouTubers doing something else than almost-nudity or reaction videos.

I just imagine the rollercoaster his parents have to be on. "Mom, dad, I am going to be a YouTuber." OMG. "I will do videos showing my love of nature." Oh, that's actually sweet. "My first video will be about going through a half-flooded former mine/cave complex."

(Don't worry, he seemed like he knew his way around nature and urbex, should be fine. Will tell, since I am his first subscriber 😁)
