I haven’t thought through the details when there is less symmetry. I imagine that we could allow different edge lengths across a polyhedron, but require that the corresponding edges in the dual polyhedra have the same length. (For example a tall and narrow triangular prism could turn into a short and wide double tetrahedron.)
