So, here's why I don't use Vivaldi, even though I think it's a solid browser and the only Chromium browser that isn't run by assholes trying to scam you.
KDE integration is downright dreadful. Vivaldi doesn't even *try* to inherit any of your KDE settings (and I use the default Breeze Dark theme!). Colours are different, fonts are different, the windows don't use shadows, icons are different, menus are non-standard, dialog boxes are the ugly Chrome ones, the settings window uses nothing but non-standard controls, and so on. Themes can alleviate some of these, but the KDE/Breeze themes you can download are... Not great. The option to use a native window is welcome, but the colours don't match up.
I really, honestly, genuinely like Vivaldi. No lie. Its options and configurability are awesome, it's fast, the Android version is just great (no issues there), and from everything I can gather, Tetzner and the team genuinely care - but using Vivaldi on KDE, which all my computers run, is... Harsh.
I fully understand it's hard to cater to a subset (KDE users) of a subset (Linux users), so I'm not mad, demanding anything, or insulting them. They're doing a great job - just their focus is not on a user like me, and that's fine. ❤️
