I used to have socialistic tendencies.
I didn't know what they were at the time but it just felt like compassion for those who couldn't help themselves.
That compassion is still there but I don't believe the state should be the one to administer the assistance. Support when you're down should never be a right as that essentially equates to legalised theft.
I now see socialism as a desease to be purged.
