Over the years I’ve collected quite a few old glass bottles. All the bottles I have were found by me snooping around in HK’s old villages, digging in coastal rubbish tip sites and actually a fair number were simply found in urban flower beds. Given that these bottles are anything up to around 120 years old or so, it’s quite remarkable that these tiny glass works are still intact. Many are embossed with a medicine company name and also the name of the medicine inside and some of the companies still exist today. It's quite clear that skin problems have been an issue for many years given how many of them that I found were for the skin!
