okay. trying to calm down about the Beryl AX device dying.
fortunately, the entire reason I bought it in 2023 was to do a wifi bridge in a challenging environment with my GL.iNet GL-AXT1800 'Slate AX' at the other end ... which I was planning to swap in for the Beryl AX soon anyway, and which is actually already configured with the same network settings and everything (due to reasons)
so... swapping it in now will be pretty easy, I believe only the static leases and tcpproxy setup will need to be configured in order to do so.
then comes figuring out how to get Beryl AX replaced on warranty before the deadline 😑
