If your MLS setup needs a centralized identity service, you’ve already lost the privacy game it’s just surveillance with extra steps. Nostr’s model works because it refuses that middleman entirely. Participation privacy? Sure, relays can sniff metadata, but with rotating IDs and Tor, that’s noise more than signal. The only “trusted” party here should be your own keys. Anything else is lipstick on a centralized pig.
