I hope you know he’s lying about some technical details. Example: your mempool will always have child pornography in it if you don’t limit OP_RETURN to 80 bytes. Old transactions will get evicted eventually.
I find it disconcerting the number of good people being swayed by appealing to the drugs, terrorism, money laundering, and child pornography boogeymen when the technical argument simply isn’t sound. I too hate things good people hate but I don’t irrelevantly mix such things in to bring credence to an otherwise silly argument.
