I care for a vulnerable family member. It's approaching 4 years since I contacted their local authority regarding the need for remedial work to resolve a damp problem. There are also pests in the property now.
I am banging my head against a brick wall. I've involved councillors and our local MP. All we receive are meaningless platitudes with no action.
A vulnerable, disabled person just doesn't matter, do they?
Caring is exhausting enough without these 'fights'.
