Chad T. Richards, a 23-year-old former college wrestler, has been arrested in connection with the killing of University of Wisconsin-Whitewater student and national title-winning gymnast Kara Welsh, 21. Welsh was shot and killed at her home near campus, and an altercation between the two led to the shooting. Richards faces charges of first-degree intentional homicide and other counts.
