I’m old enough to remember when a few prominent nostr users were pushing for people to dox themselves on nostr in an effort to make nostr feel more “noob friendly.”
with a little bit of effort anyone can already use nostr without linking themselves to legal identities.
with a few optimizations on the client side this will become much easier.
nyms will build up verifiable reputations over time and become credible sources of truth.
