This is completely separate to Fosstodon and would have zero impact on it.
I’ve made no secret about the fact that I think Fosstodon is now too big. I’d offer to hand a smaller community, like Fosstodon was in the early days.
Like I said, Fosstodon wouldn’t change and I’d still enjoy this community too.
