Yes.

1- Scammer sees you selling;
2- Finds a buyer (victim);
3- Tells victim to send you fiat;
4- You see the payment, send coins to scammer;
5- You and the scammer are happy, the victim isn't and will call the bank, go after you etc;

Step 2 can be unrelated to Bitcoin (ex: scammer could pretend to be selling a phone).
